The simulator is a model of a man’s lower torso with proximal fragments of the thighs and external genitalia. The material of the model is close to natural values in terms of its physical and properties. Trainer provides realistic catheter insertion sensations
Functional features :
- anatomically correct male urethra, including constrictions and curves;
- opening of the urethra;
- soft penis;
- anatomically correct bladder mucosa, including the openings of the ureters;
- palpable imitation of the pubic bone.
The simulator provides an opportunity to practice the following skills :
- bladder catheterization in men;
- Foley catheter insertion and removal;
- cystoscopy;
- care of the perineal area.
