This simulator is a three-layer manipulation platform that is made of polymer materials that mimic the epidermis, dermis and subcutaneous fat. These layers are color-coded and their mechanical properties are close to the natural values of the above-mentioned fabrics. In the center of the module, an atheroma with a diameter of 15 mm is modeled with all the signs characteristic of this disease, including purulent contents.
The manipulation platform allows you to perform:
- cuts of different depths,
- opening and excision of the atheroma,
- surgical suturing and knot knitting,
- applying brackets.
The simulator is designed for using in medical educational institutions.
