Model of the lower limb of a newborn for practicing the skills of intravenous and intramuscular injections

Price: Upon Request

The simulator is a specialized support with an anatomical model of a newborn’s leg with superficial veins installed on it. The simulators of veins and surrounding tissues are structurally designed with regard to functional mobility and elasticity, which mimics the realism of the procedure. To control the process, as well as to obtain a visual picture, the vessels are filled with a blood simulator. If the blood collection procedure is performed correctly, liquid will appear in the syringe. With the correct entry of the needle into the vein, and the implementation of the introduction of drugs, the plunger with the syringe rod easily moves and increases the volume in the container with blood. The pear included in the simulator creates pressure in the container with blood. The simulator provides the ability to perform intramuscular injections.

The simulator is designed to practice the skills of introducing intravenous needles and catheters, infusing solutions and drugs, as well as taking blood for analysis from a vein. The simulator is made of materials that tactilely resemble the tissues of the human body.
