The simulator for practicing external obstetric turning of the foetus on the head

Price: Upon Request

The simulator is an anatomical model of a woman’s torso at the 36th week of pregnancy. The torso is represented from the upper parts of the thighs to the upper part of the chest with clearly defined anatomical landmarks: navel, mammary glands.

The simulator is designed for practising skills:

  • external obstetric rotation;
  • measurement of external dimensions of the pelvis.

The simulated abdominal cavity contains a model of a child in an amniotic sac. The imitation of amniotic fluid and its volume can be changed.

The replaceable imitation of the torso skin is made of special silicone, which is similar to human skin, which gives it natural realism.

The shape of the amniotic sac corresponds to the shape of the pelvis and is close to natural values in its physical properties.

The fetus model corresponds to the size of babies at 36 weeks of pregnancy and is made in life-size. The material of the model reflects the properties of anatomical structures as closely as possible.

The simulator allows you to reliably recreate the tactile sensations of a doctor when performing obstetric aids and manipulations.

The simulator is intended for use by students of medical universities and colleges during accreditation.
