The simulator is a life-size model of a human head, on a stand, for endoscopic examination of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses. The head model consists of: a lower jaw, facial muscles, replaceable skin of the facial part; the imitation of the nasal cavity with nasal passages and a septum are replaceable.
The simulator has a built-in simulation of the paranasal sinuses for practice using an endoscope. Supplying of purulent contents imitation from the maxillary sinus into the middle nasal passage for the purpose of visual diagnostics is possible.
It is possible to examine with the simulator of the following: nasal septum, ethmoid sinuses, nasal conchae, nasal passages, uncinate process (eminentia costaria), posterior edge of the nasal septum, mouth of the auditory tube (Eustachian tube), nasopharyngeal space.
The model has a stand for stable placement of the “patient” in the supine position.
