Basic CPR Simulator with Indicator Lights and Software (Brayden)

Price: Upon Request

Simulator represents a realistic adult torso with anatomically accurate landmarks, chest elasticity comparable to that of the average human chest, and a movable head to allow airway opening.

The simulator allows to work out cardiopulmonary resuscitation technique by one or two rescuers.

Practiced skills:

  • Artificial lungs ventilation by the mouth-to-mouth method;
  • Artificial lungs ventilation with a breathing bag;
  • Palpation of anatomical landmarks;
  • Chest compressions;
  • Ensuring the patency of the respiratory tract by tilting the head.

The simulator is equipped with software that allows recording the percentage of correct chest compressions and ventilation breaths according to the following parameters:

  • compression depth,
  • compression frequency,
  • correct hand position,
  • completeness of decompressions,
  • volume of air inhaled,
  • inspiratory rate,
  • the ratio of compressions and breaths.

The simulator is equipped with switched light indication system that illustrates the movement of blood through the main vessels during chest compressions.

The intensity and color of the glow of the indicators depend on the quality of the chest compressions performed:

  • compression depth,
  • compression frequency,
  • correct hand position
  • completeness of decompressions.

The presence of color indicators (blood circulation, compression depth, CPR quality) allows the student to monitor the quality of the simulated resuscitation measures being carried out in a way that is as close as possible to the visual assessment of the patient’s condition during real resuscitation, which makes effective self-learning process with the simulator and reduces the time required to achieve a given level of practical training in CPR.

The simulator allows palpation to determine 4 anatomical landmarks:

  • sternum,
  • rib cage,
  • chest cavity,
  • xiphoid process.

The simulator allows to visually observe chest excursion during correct artificial lungs ventilation.

The head of simulator tilts back. In the normal head position, the airways are closed, ventilation is impossible. In the reclined position, the airways are open and ventilation is possible.

Special software monitors the correctness of CPR in real time, and also saves the results for subsequent analysis and processing:

  • View the results during the training;
  • Perform an exercise performance analysis;
  • Send results by e-mail, the manikin has the ability to establish Internet connection.

The software allows to control the simulator using mobile devices and save results of examination and training sessions to these devices, which allows to operate from any mobile device, forming a personal portfolio of work on this simulator.

At the end of the resuscitation, a report is issued with an assessment in points.

It is possible to print and export a report for analysis.

The report contains data on the following parameters:

  • Depth of compressions;
  • Compression frequency;
  • Correct hand position;
  • Completeness of decompressions;
  • The volume of inhaled air;
  • Inspiratory rate;
  • The ratio of compressions and breaths.

The report contains following parameters:

  • time,
  • the number of cycles,
  • overall assessment of resuscitation measures.

The simulator software generates a report in graphical and tabular formats.

The Tablet PC provides the ability to install software compatible with Android mobile devices.

The software provides simulator operation in two modes:

  • training,
  • exam.

It also provides the ability to set the time frame for training and examination tasks.

Scope of delivery:

  1. Complete adult torso
  2. Control PC
  3. User manual in English
