This simulator is a three-layer manipulation platform that simulates the skin, subcutaneous fat and muscles. An imitation of a subcutaneous abscess with purulent contents was created on the model. The physical properties of the model material are close to the natural values.
The simulator allows you to perform the stages of surgical intervention:
- autopsy,
- rehabilitation,
- drainage of the abscess cavity,
- excision of necrotic tissues.
The simulator is designed for use in medical educational institutions.
