The simulator is a part of the human torso and simulates the lumbar region anatomy, including bone landmarks.
Accurate anatomy reproduction provides realistic tactile sensations during needle puncture, as well as reliable palpation of anatomical landmarks.
A spinous process and spaces between spinous processes are determined by palpation under the skin.
The simulator provides realistic practice and demonstration of spinal injections:
- spinal anesthesia
- spinal puncture
- epidural anesthesia
- caudal analgesia
- sacral nerve block
- lumbar sympathetic block
Functional features:
- Replaceable skin is easy to install in the simulator
- The spinal canal is filled with fluid for greater reliability of the procedure
- Sections L1 and L2 of the spinal column are made visible through the transparent wall
- The functional part of this model includes the vertebrae L3-L5, as well as the sacrum and coccyx
